My son, who is shorter than your son, fits but the seat on ours is narrow. I don't think he's as comfortable in the double than in our single. We have the less expensive model, can't remember the name again....

My son is very thin but taller so I am wondering how tall the back of the seat is. Are your kids able to rest their head on the back of their seat to nap, if they wanted? So many questions because I'm considering this stroller for a trip. tia!

We originally had the Maclaren double for our 2yo and infant. We used it until DS was 3.
We then got the double city mini. I think it is more durable and larger. Kids are now 3.5 and 5.5 and we still use it on trips. We plan to take the double city mini for our Disney trip this yr.
