Foreign object found in Similac powder
As I was making my DD's bottle a while ago, I spotted a dark foreign object in the powder. I took it out for further observation, and it looked like it may be an insect part? This was in a 1.45 lb container of Similac Advance. I'm so grossed out, I remember reading articles about this happening a few years back though I don't remember which formula it was. What do I do?!

I'd just bring it back to the store and ask for a new container.

gross! I'd also call similac and maybe they will send you some free formula as well.

Didn't see your response. Yes, I think I will call them first and then bring it back to the store? I'll see what Similac says. Just want other parents who use the formula to be aware and check the formula powder as you are making your DC's bottle.

I would def call similac first. Maybe email them a picture. The. Go back to where you bought it and exchange it.
