I did. DD2 was born via successful vbac exactly 2 years after my section. My group's main concern was that I had a horizontal incision; the kind of suturing technique didn't seem to matter.

Good luck!!

Sorry I can't answer OP's question but question for you - what's the issue with a horizontal incision?

Generally, c-section moms with t-shaped or vertical incisions will have a hard time finding someone to support them if they want to VBAC. Horizontal incisions are less likely to rupture. That's what I have, so I was good to go.

Ohhhhhh okay I read your post wrong - i thought you were saying they were concerned that you HAD horizontal incision. Thanks for clarifying. I am considering this option and while I still have a bit to decide, I'd rather not wait until the last minute!

I had a csection in August 2013 and had a fetal demise this summer which I had to deliver vaginally. I asked my OB if I would be able to have a VBAC in the future and she said she doesn't see why not.
