Puppy and toddler help!
So I'm crazy and decided for whatever reason that now would be a good time to get a puppy. Any tips for keeping the peace between an 11 week old mouthy monster and a 2 year old who is not impressed hehe. We lost our 13.5 year old dog in the spring and were looking initially for another adult dog but ended up with this australian shepherd cutie instead. I know I have bitten off more then I can chew so to speak but would love to hear if anyone else has done this and everyone survived and how you did it! Thanks!

Eek! This is a tough age - puppies wanna chew , bite, mouth etc. The best thing to do is constantly offer the puppy appropriate chew toys. Praise him when he is chewing something that is appropriate. Petco has a lot of toys for teething/chewy dogs. Tough age for both kids! Good luck

Can you maybe gate your kitchen off so the puppy has space, but can't get himself in too much trouble?
