Moms with 3 really close in age
Im having my 3rd baby in a few weeks, DD just turned 1 in May and my DS was 2 in December. Be honest how tough is the first few weeks? Im very nervous since we live in a small place and will be eventually moving. My DS and DD share a room for now and the baby will be in the bassinet in my room. Im not sure Im going to nurse and I don't think I have time to pump. Will I get any sleep? Im glad that it is summer because I can do parks, and backyard baby pool fun but I know I can't go into Walgreens or food shopping. I don't want to neglect my other two so Im trying to figure out how to give attention to everyone and still eat, and sleep. Im just really nervous. I do have help except for one day when Ill be alone but I can call someone if necessary. Oh and it is my 3rd c-section so I know Ill need time to recover. Thanks so much.

Moms with 3 really close in age
My twins were 20 months when my DS was born. Honestly, the infant stage was MUCH easier than it is now that the baby is almost 2 and the twins are 3.5. The baby was very easy to just throw in an infant carrier on my chest and go. I could go food shopping if i had to or take a trip to the store. When the baby slept, which was a lot, i could pay full attention to the twins. Now, it's way harder. Since the twins want to walk and so does the baby but he needs a stroller. All three of them are runners so i really don;t go anywhere unless someone is with me. They all also want to climb all over me all the time. There is a lot of jealousy now and they fight to be able to be on top of me. I also have those back pack harnesses and they are life savers for me if i do go out. If you can get the baby on a good schedule over the first month or so you will get sleep. I nursed and pumped for 10 days but it literally made me sick so i decided i would quit and go with formula. Best decision ever for me although i do wish i could have breast fed. You'll also be surprised how much faster you will recover from y our c-section because you have to. It is rough and it will be rough the first few weeks but you will establish a good routine and all will be fine :)

Re: Moms with 3 really close in age
My twins were 17 months old when my youngest was born. I was on my own after 2 weeks when DH went back to to work. I was so nervous how it was gonna be. I was very lucky and had a great newborn who pretty much slept which was awesome. I nursed and formula fed for 8 weeks. I just timed his feedings to make sure I had enough time to feed the twins and then him.
Honestly the most stressful thing was that I couldn't leave him alone for 1 sec in case they would knock him over, throw things in with him, etc. He lived in the rock n play which went with me, even in the bathroom.
Not gonna lie, there was a lot of tv time but we survived. Good luck and congrats!!

Thanks so much!! I feel a little bit better. I know that if I have to the kids can go out back in their pjs in the morning, mac and cheese will be my go to food for myself and that I just have to go with it. Im not sure I can pump and nurse and I don't want to stress myself out so formula may be an option too.
