In the past week DD has had three vomiting incidents after having milk. Last Monday I fed DD oatmeal in the morning which I mixed with whole milk and within a half hour she vomited all of it. The vomit was very mucous (tmi, sorry!) then the following morning about 15 minutes after finishing her morning bottle (also whole milk) she vomited a little bit. Then yesterday morning, almost immediately after finishing she proceeded to vomit the entire bottle. I called the ped today and he didn't seem to think it was an allergy because it's not consistent and she has no other symptoms or anything. She is perfectly fine after and acts normally. She holds all other food down during the rest of the day. Her nighttime bottle we've never had an issue with. The ped said sometimes kids just have a hard time with milk and she will likely grow out of it. I'm wondering if maybe it's because she's waking up hungry and drinking the bottle too fast? I tried giving her a very light breakfast this morning and then giving her the bottle but she drank an ounce and then wouldn't drink any more. Anyone have any thoughts or been through something similar? I really dread giving her the morning bottle!
