Issue with solids.
DD has never been very interested in solids. I have tried cereal, different brands of jars, and making my own food. She used to take 2-3oz a sitting with 1 tbs cereal but over the past 3 days she has eaten a total of 3oz of food and maybe 2-3 Table spoons of cereal. She chews on teething biscuits, but after two bites she gags horribly. I tried puffs for a few days but again, each one she gags.
I am in no hurry to rush her into solids if she just isn't ready. I know she really only needs the breast milk she gets from nursing but i was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and how it was resolved.
People say it is impossible, but she did indeed choke last weekend on a teething cracker to the point where she stopped breathing and turned red. One good smack on the back and she was fine... Just scared. I would think maybe that scared her enough to not want to eat, but she did have some sweet potato a few hours after that and ate ok on Monday.
ETA she is 8 months.

Re: Issue with solids.
Mine is a little over 9 months and she is extremely variable. I find when I'm at work she will eat solids during the day but on the weekends she just wants to nurse. Last Sunday (Easter, I remember saying to my mom at dinner) she refused solids the entire day. Unless there is some kind of physical issue that could be effecting it (bad tongue tie, etc) I wouldn't worry. I'd be much more worried if she were refusing the breast milk.
