NYC marathon
I don't post often but definitely read the boards religiously and get a lot of great advice here. My husband has decided to run the NYC marathon for charity. We have both lost close family members to cancer so he had decided to run to raise money for Sloane Kettering. I figured I would post here in case anyone is interested in donating. I hear ya! I would never be able to do it either. I'm so proud that he's so committed. It'll be a cool thing to take the girls to. Thanks for checking out the link.

You dont' have to qualify - it's generally done by lottery. You get an automatic bid if you run a certain number of NY Roadrunners races the year before. And if you join something like Team in Training - I believe you are guaranteed entry if you meet their fundraising target.
