The new chapter is on its way :) update !!!
So being 3 days late in meeting our son, my doc approved us to be induced next Monday night! (Week 41)
It's a relief to know there is light at the end of the tunnel,
Hopefully this little guy would like to meet his family earlier, but if not we will soon :)
Update
Well last night I got really sick
Had chills, vomit and bad back pain along with bleeding
My doc sent me to hospital where he monitored me and the baby heart rate was high
i had 102 fever, and was bleeding very bad.
As of 4:00 am I had a c- section and delivered our precious son Mason Riley.

Good luck!!! At least you have a plan and don't have to schlep back and forth to the Dr's office! Anything can happen during this week, try all the old wives remedies repeatedly and walk, walk, walk!!!
Hopefully your DS will make an earlier appearance!

We're being induced the same day!! Yay, I'm hoping that since I'm more relaxed now with an end date in site he'll just decide to make his presence sooner (um.. like today).  Fingers Crossed. Good Luck!!

What hospital? I will be in north shore manhassett
I am more relaxed as well.

Now that you scheduled a induction date your going to go into labor any day. My One OB joked about that when I scheduled mine. My first I just talked about scheduling one and went into labor the next day. My second I scheduled one ( I was 6 days late) and gave birth the day before induction was scheduled. I was so happy since I didn't want to be induced.
Nothing you can do now but wait and keep walking. Do some squats. LOL the day will be here soon enough.

We are delivering at St. Charles and have been walking everyday!! Nothing is working, lol he's being stubborn. Off to my 40 week sono though so lets see if he has any news (which I doubt, lol).
