where can I find info on having more than 1 car seat

DH and I are trying to decide on how to position the infant carrier for the new baby in the car with DD in the convertible car seat. Our plan was to see if they infant carrier fits in the middle with the convertible seat behind the driver. But I can not find any info online if this is not recommended.

Anyone have any suggestions?

As long as each seat is individually stable it's fine. Meaning neither seat can use the other seat for bracing but they can touch.

This is what we did as well. It probably depends on how old your older one is, but I did not want them that close together for fear older DS would toss something in the seat. DS1 was 2.5 when DS2 arrived.

This configuration does not work. There are a variety of reasons, but a infant seat in many cases cannot fit the center of many cars. It definitely cannot fit when used next to a convertible seat. Child seats cannot touch.

The recommendation is the infant seat on the rear passenger side and the older child on the driver side.

A rear facing infant seat should not touch another seat.

What if you have to put three across?

Does it work in the Odyssey? It's the only reason I was thinking of buying an Odyssey over a Sienna.

This poses an entirely different problem - depending on the vehicle positioning of seats is vehicle dependent.
