Level 2 ultrasound - Ecogenic Focus
I had my level 2 ultrasound and there was a spot on the baby's heart (echogenic focus). This is a soft marker for Downs syndrome, but all other measurements have been fine. I also had the Harmony test, and my results came back clear of DS. All of my research has led me to believe I shouldn't worry and many women experience this and it typically clears itself up, but I can't help but be concerned. Has anyone had this in their u/s? If so, what was the outcome?

Just had a fetal echo yesterday for the same thing. It just ended up being a calcium deposit that was "lighting up"

That's great!! How many weeks are you currently? I can't get an appointment until I am 24.5 weeks along. I really wanted to get an appointment sooner!
