Just for fun...
You know how they say you if you get pregnant before the egg drops you are having a girl and if you get pregnant right after the egg drops you are having a boy... or something like that. Anyway people who have had an iui did you have a boy? lol because we got inseminated when we were ovulating right? Not before so that means we should be having boys right?
I am curious if you have had an iui did you have a boy?
With us we were  anyway, so in my mind if we have a girl it was from the we did before the iui. If we have a  I got pregnant with the iui.
Just want to hear you experiences and thoughts.....

I'm interested to know this answer too! My mom has been telling me about this since I was pregnant the first time around. She wanted to know when we so she can figure out the gender. Wondering how true it is. Even though the idea seems silly to me lol

We only BD'd ON the day of O'ing and we are having a girl.. I think that is the opposite of what the gender prediction says..

I didn't have any fertility interventions, but I can tell you that with my DD, we only before I ovulated...and she was a bit of a surprise bc I thought we too soon to get pregnant.
This time, we after I ovulated bc DH was away before. We are having a boy.
I also never know the exact day/ time I O bc I never really kept track... Just went by counting the days on he calendar to know around when I should O.
Also, the acidity of your vaginal fluid can effect gender too bc I think the male sperm are more susceptible to high acidity than the female sperm.
In general, the male sperm swim faster but die faster, where as the female sperm live longer but swim slower...which is why people came up with this theory of predicting gender based on ovulation. I worked for a Dr who swears he was 2 for 2 with "picking" the gender based on this method.
I think it can work, but obviously nothing is guaranteed.

Had back to back IUI with my first. Ovulated the day of the second IUI - had a boy. Now pregnant and had IUI day of ovulation and its a girl.
