Spencer and Heidi
Did anyone catch the E special last night on Spencer and Heidi? Kinda like a where are they now? Well, nothing else was on and the plastic surgery preview drew me in and watched the entire hour!!! Did all of that crap really happen? If anyone that followed the Hills you prob have a better understanding and was that show a "reality" show? I was confused as to how Spencer ruined Heidi and Lauren Conrads relationship. They blame all of their ruin on the producers of the show. He did admit to thinking he was bigger then life too but most of the blame fell on the producers and how everything was a big act, even their divorce "threat" Can someone elaborate. I didnt follow them or watch TIA!

Spencer and Heidi
I watched the Hills but not last night's show. Spencer was a complete nightmare. He was rude and nasty to many of the cast members. He had these crazy episodes that freaked people out. He was super controlling with Heidi and made her do things to Lauren. She would treat Lauren badly. She would leak stories to the press and I think she may have been behind leaking something about a sex tape. I don't think it was the actual tape but that one existed.
He claimed to love Heidi and then he made her get all that work done. He made her so insecure and she lost all her friends and had issues with her family (and she was really close with them before).

Yea and they took no responsibilty for their behavior. No one makes you do anything you dont want to do. They were so hungry for fame they sold their soul to the devil and are now crying woe is me?!
Its so sad that she was so insecure and had no love for herself that she destroyed her face and body. And sadder that she ended up with this disgusting little boy named spencer. He was still telling her he has no desire to have children he said it repeatedly... and she kept saying o you dont mean that. He does thats why he said it. And she just keeeps plowing ahead ooo i want like 3 kids and blah blah and hes like no i dont want any i want all your attention all the time. Hes a maniac. And hes still controlling. Hea still a *********. And thats not a producer doing it. Fine hes being up front about his feelings i dont judge kids are not for everyone i respect that. But then tell this girl i dont want children ever andmay e we dont belong together

Spencer and Heidi
It was semi scripted and scenes were set up. Some scenes were re-acted after what happened in real life If you were to get a phone call, you knew to expect it and it was taped If you missed being on tape, it was acted and then taped
Cast members admitted to texting to avoid conversations being said on film. If you rewatch shows, you will see some texting going on and secret smiles.
Producers also like to make up things and get ppl going. They will lie and say so and so did this or said that and then plant that in another cast members head. That's what starts a lot of arguments. This happens in all shows.
It's all a game. Real life is never that intense. The cast members know it but play into it for fame. It really is like an acting role more than a reality cast member.
This is what I have heard from reading about cast members experiences
Reality tv is crap but it's interesting to learn how it's crafted.

Some may have been scripted but I think a lot of Heidi and Spencer stuff was real. No one from the show was friends with them after filming. No one wanted to deal with them. That part was real.

Kristin Cavalleri has come out saying the show was completely scripted as well. Everything btw her and Justin Bobby all fake. It seemed fake so Im not surprised.
