Group money gift for class
I already have a teacher gift from DS but nothing for the class assistants. The class parent is asking for a certain amount for teacher and assistants. Do you think if I gave her 1/2 the amount with a note saying put towards assistants gift only would be ok? I'll be telling her I have a teacher gift already. Or should I just stick to doing something on my own? Want to avoid any confusion.

You can definitely just do the assistants separately. Though if everyone is contributing to the teacher gift as well, I would probably do that as well as the individual gift. I wouldn't want to be the only one not on the card for the teacher.
I just finished shopping for all my gifts...came out to 21 people...oy!

That's great this year,I am not getting my daughter's teacher anything she is the worst teacher. I will get my daughter's one to one a $50 gift card.
