Spinoff to how many Christmas cards...
That post got me thinking about who I send Christmas cards to. Do you send them to people who usually don't send them to you? I used to and got sick of it. So now I only send to close friends and family.

I keep extra incase someone random sends to me. There are some people who just don't send them but I still send to them.

I alweays sent to our whole wedding list--this year I might keep a list of who I get from--of course older people I will always send to regardless but cousins or people similar age who just choose to not send to me I might cut out.

I send to close family and friends, then I keep a few extra in case someone random sends us a card.

I keep track of who we get from, and have a two year rule. Unless it is a very close family member or friend, after two years of no cards they get removed from our list.
I love getting holiday cards, and I love sending them out. I actually save all of the photo ones and put them out again the following year (I have a binder ring through them), and turn the non photo ones into gift tags with a punch.

i send them to our immediate family, some extended family, like aunts/cousins and close family friends. but our list only ever reaches 30 so its still not a lot compared to how many some other ladies send out

Pretty much same here, although each year we look at the list and see if there is anyone we should take off (for example, we used to send one to my DH's old college friend but they haven't spoken in a couple of years so that person came off the list.)
ETA we still send to family members even if they do not send us a card, i realize some people are just not card people (like my mom!)

I don't send cards but if I were to, I'd just send to immediate family and close friends. I can't imagine that being more than 10-20 cards.

I don't send them but if I did I would never keep track of who sent me one. I would just make my list and send them off.

All family and friends. And then I always get extra just in case someone sends us one then they get added to the Christmas card list for next year.
