what kind of beer for party?
What's most popular?
I was thinking bud light and blue moon but bm is a bit pricey.

we have been trying to figure this out too! lol. obviously, cost is an issue so i have been monitoring the circulars for sales. this week there are a few good sales out, so take a look.
so far we got coors light - for the light beer drinkers and it was reallllly cheap!!. we also got miller high life since it was on sale and its pretty decent. next we will get a better brand that DH likes (probably sam adams or negro modela). but i figure we saved money on the other types, so now DH can pick whatever he wants for the rest.
i forgot where i saw a sale on BM recently...maybe walgreens? not sure. if i see it again, ill send you a note.

You can enter what kind you are looking for- Bud, Coors, Sam Adams etc and it will tell you which store has it on sale for the cheapest that particular week.
Just enter your zip code for your local stores.

we usually have some sort of an IPA and something lighter, like a pale ale. we don't buy wheat just because it gives me headaches. Apparently thats common. Some of our go to beers are:
toasted lager
pork slap
southern tier
shipyard
Mission Street (trader joes)
for our beach parties we usually get something super light like corona or name tag from trader joes since those are more refreshing.
ETA: check out trader joes. They have good beers for very reasonable prices.
