I recently had an hsg and during the procedure the doctor turned off the machine. He said he wanted to give the dye time to settle in. Then he turned it back on and took 3 images. When I left I overheard reception tell a tech guy that the machine stopped working during my exam. Now I'm worried that the doctor didnt get enough images. Does anyone know how many images are generally taken? The procedure was quick. He inserted the contrasts and turned off the machine then he took the catheter out and then turned the machine back on and took pics. I'm assuming this isnt typical but I don't know what the procedure is supposed to be like. Can someone explain how their hsg was?
