Breaking bad ? From season 2
I just watching on Netflix ...omg have I been living under a rock...lol anyway..I'm a little lost with the whole Gretchen offering to pay for the treatments....and why is he paying and not his insurance

From what I remember Gretchen is his ex and his insurance did not cover the special treatments...

there was a flashback of him working on something with Gretchen when they were younger. Then they got romantic.
Her husband along with her and walt came up with the thing that was behind their successful business but walt wasnt included in the business. They offered to help him because they felt he was due money for his help.
Once walts wife found out about the cancer she only wanted the best drs who didnt take their insurance. They agreed to pay out of pocket.

Breaking bad ? From season 2
How great is this show?? I just started watching too. I'm in the middle of season 2 as well. I can't believe I didn't watch this when it was on TV. It's intense!!

Another reason I love the show... interpretation of the things people do. It makes you think. I thought they offered it out of pity, because Skylar had kind of cornered him and talked to him about Walt already. And since they had so much and Walt has so little, they offered him a job/$ to pay for the treatments.
At least, that's the way Walt took it. I disliked Gretchen and her husband from the beginning though so my opinion might be skewed!

Omg I agree people laugh at me when I tell them I just started watching! Omg the program has me 100 % I love it.....the other day I googled how to make meth lol omg. I hope no one gets hold of my I pad lol
