1st Bday - When to send out invites?
We are having DD's 1st Bday party at a restaurant on 12/14. How far in advance should I sent out the invites? It's 11 days before Xmas, so not sure if I have to add in extra buffer time for that.
I haven't planned a formal party in years, so I'm clueless!

My dd is in the middle of summer so I always send a buffer time frame too, I did 1.5 months before the party. Too soon and people forget

We did this too. I send invites about 6 weeks prior to her party with a RSVP date 2 weeks prior. That left me some time to track people down that didn't respond and get a final count within 1 week to her party. DD's birthday is in May so I was working around Communions and college graduations.

dd's party is 11/2 and I just sent the invites out a couple of days ago. so about 6 weeks or so.

Lol, our 1st bday party is on the same day and I was wondering the same thing. I think I'm going to send them out the week of Halloween, giving 6 weeks.
