White Smoke! A New Doctor is Chosen!
Sooo.... what does everyone think?

Personally, I don't know him from a hole in the wall. But I didn't know any of them before they were the Doctor, so I trust BBC. I would've liked him to be ginger (I still say Rupert Grint gets my vote!), but I'll settle for not being a lady. I know he was on a previous Doctor Who episode, but it was a really minor role. Wasn't he the one who bought the TARDIS in the market in The Fires of Pompeii?
IMDB also tells me that he was in World War Z. And what was his character's name in World War Z?
Is this some sort of a joke?!

Too funny. I think his official name in World War Z was World Health Organization Doctor, but someone has an excellent sense of humor. The photo I saw of him looked evil. I wonder if they will take the show a different direction this season. I don't know who he is either, and was also hoping for Rupert as well.

Yeah, I knew it was World Health Org. but I would not put some little thing like that past BBC.
I only remember him from the one episode- he didn't play evil or anything. He was a little bumbly- he bought the Tardis thinking it was "modern art".
