ride on toys/ all toys for a 12-24 month old
DD is almost a year old. I am thinking ahead for the year- the entire 12 to 24 months period for toys and activities. We don't really have the money or the space for a ton of toys but I do want to make sure she gets the best/most essential ones. Is a ride on toy worth it/necessary? I feel like she may not actually use it enough. Any feedback would be appreciated. Just trying to figure out what to save for and what to forget about!

My daughter loves her Minnie Mouse ride on toy. The seat lifts up and it has a handle so besides riding on it, she often uses it like a wagon. Puts toys in it and pushes it around etc. She has gotten a lot of use out of it.

We lived in a small apartment and had a Mickey Mouse ride on toy. My son got it at 14 months old.. HE loved it...He played with it up until this past May. He is a little over 3.5 years old now!

My son is 16 months and he loves the Step 2 Push Buggy, Cozy Coupe and he has a small ride on for inside (his is a dump truck that a neighbor gave us).
His favorite is the Cozy Coupe - he could just sit in there for hours (without being pushed).

my son got a ride on toy for his 1st birthday and at almost 2 still loves playing with it around the house. we have a small ranch, but it's just big enough for him to drive it around

I got DS a ride on pirate ship.
DD loves it too!
It has a compartment under the seat and a "crows nest" to put pirates or pirate princesses in.
It is relatively small and makes noise (ship noise).
It's by little tikes and sells for $35 off their site with free shipping.
