Music Together vs. Music for Aardvarks
I'm considering enrolling DD in one of these two classes for September. Is anyone familiar with both of them? I'm curious about how they compare to one another, and what the differences in their approach and curriculum are. Thanks!

DS LOOOOVED music for aardvarks. We still sing the taxi and pooping song all the time from the cd.

1 of the moms in our class tried music for aardvarks 1st and didn't like it.

music together def has more philosophy behind it's teachings. it's nationwide and they hold conferences and training for teachers. We loved it. Music for aardvarks, IMO, was just fun singing and banging around with instruments

Thanks. That's the kind of thing that I'm trying to find out about.  I know some people who have preferences for each. So far, I like the Music Together music better!

I've been looking into Music Together. I've heart great things. But my DD is only 5 months old so it may be too early for us. Do you know when (how old?) kids typically start?

We started MT at 5 months and continued until DS was almost 2. We absolutely loved the program.

We just did music together while I'm home over the summer. DD was 6 mos. when it started. She loves it!
