did you go the "space saver" route by getting a loft bed or storage bed? or did you just get a regular bed? we have time but I want to start shopping around and pricing out and getting ideas about what we want to do for his "big boy room". Considering we want to move I'm thinking we should consider space saving options

I'd be cautious about investing in a loft bed if you are moving. My daughter wanted one, but since she is in a renovated attic space with slanted roof on the sides and lower than average ceilings, it wouldn't work. I'd just invest in a good mattress on a basic frame and buy up for the fancy headboard and all when you are settled into your new place.

I got my 2yo the Maxtrix day bed with 2 storage drawers down below. This bed can be converted into a loft or bunk bed. It's a little pricy, but with 3 boys now, bunk beds are definitely in our future, so it made sense to spend the money.
