Re: First baby - early, late or on time?

2 days early, brought DS home from the hospital on my due date.

I was only a fingertip dilated the morning I went into labor and thought I still had another week before he would arrive.

You never know!

Way early. Hope that when I get pregnant again it won't happen again. He was born at 28 weeks.

Late. I was induced at 40w4d because of low fluid levels.

First baby - early, late or on time?

Just about 41 weeks (this is bad I cant remember exactly the days).Went into labor and delivered DD vaginally. I was not induced, and I don't think induction was ever a discussion with my OB(this was 16 years ago).

I really enjoyed that pregnancy so I really wasn't in a rush to deliver.

Re: First baby - early, late or on time?

Late!

I wasn't really progressing at all. 4 days after my due date I went for an appt. and the doctor still thought nothing was going on. There's wasn't but my fluids were low so I was sent in that night to start cervadil that night and then have Pitocin the next day. No complications at all.

Re: First baby - early, late or on time?

I had a scheduled induction at 40 weeks. due to GD, my doc doesnt let you go to 40 weeks. so i was induced at 39w 6d, and delivered on 39w 7d. induction was fine. I was already 4 cm adn contracting on my own.. doc broke my plug 3 weeks earlier..
Good luck.. hope you deliver soon!!!
