Anyones child been through an EEG??
My 18 month old DD has to have one done tomorrow 
Any advice, tips or just guidence on what to expect?? thanks

Anyones child been through an EEG??
We just had one. Does she have a favorite movie? If you have a smartphone or an ipad, I'd highly recommend loading/downloading a favorite movie or TV show you think would hold her attention. My DS normally only gets his binky to go to sleep, but we brought that too.
My DH held him still to keep him from touching his head & I held the movie over his head. Just a head's up, they will goop up her hair (with a lotion, I believe). Actual EEG took about 15 mins, wasn't as bad as I thought.

Definetely a movie, that saved us and took his mind off the wires. We got it at StonyBrook and they brought in a TV and DVD player. We dimmed the lights and brought a bottle. My son was under one at the time. Try to schedule around nap time. They usually would like him to sleep for a bit.
Bring snacks, favorite toys, drink
