Would you be upset and WWYD if your child's name was incorrect on the recital program?

And I don't mean misspelled, I mean, if your child's name was Amanda Johnson and it appeared on the program as Anna Johnson? And if when you came to drop your child off backstage her name was not on the roster, which of course was later explained by the fact that a person by her name was not anywhere on the list of the kids performing at all... since her name was wrong...

Woud you be upset and what would you do? Would you reach out to the program director? And what would you even say, after the fact?

I would be upset. Was there a checklist before the recital? At our studio, we have to check and sign off on our children's names, so if there was a mistake, I would be upset. I would mention it after the fact as well, not that I would want to get any sort of rectification from it, but they should be aware and possibly think of ways to prevent it in the future.

As long as the backstage issue got cleared up, I wouldn't care. It happens. People making programs make mistakes.

I would be upset... My son and 4 of his classmates, won the year long stock market game for LI. There was a big awards ceremony at Molly College, his name was right in the program but his award was wrong, the put second place team. I know it is not a huge deal but it was for him, he was so upset..

I wouldn't care. If it was a Harvard graduation program I would be upset, but a grade schoolers dance recital wouldn't matter. Maybe initially I'd be annoyed, but I'm sure I would be over it in seconds. That's just me.

I'd reach out very politely to the owner of the studio. I would assume that the entire error started with a misunderstanding of something that was handwritten.

I'd probably be a little disappointed- but I'd get over it within minutes.

I WOULD definitely mention it to the program director so that corrections can be made for next year.

DD's last name was spelled wrong on the Kindergarten directory that went out the first week of school. All year she has been getting invites with the wrong last name .

Yes, I would be upset. Especially if it was my child's first dance recital. I would speak to the director and I would hope she would apologize.

My DD didn't have a program I actually never heard of one so I don't think it is the end of the world. That said, I wouldn't be upset but, I would be annoyed and I would say something! Yes, it's only a program but, it's a keepsake you would want to save and now you cant. And, frankly after hundreds (mine was almost $1000) of dollars for the class for the year - the $$ for the costume and the $$ for the tix to the recital - I'd be annoyed - the least they could do is spell check and double check the program!

It would annoy me but not the end of the world.
This year for DD's dance recital the following happened to us:
1.) they ran out of programs
2.) they ran out of the sheets that had the performance order
3.) because of my dd's placement on stage and our seats, we couldn't see her in the only act she was in!
4.) the candid shots durning the performance, she is in 1 our of 25 and she was in the corner
