convertible car seat?
DD is just a little over a year and I want to get her out of her infant car seat. She is 95 percentile for height and she just looks cramped. I am really torn on getting a car seat that is able to recline or not. We make long trips (8 hrs) to visit family up in Buffalo and Im wondering if it will be worth the extra money for the ones that can recline. I was also thinking it might be an easier transition for her out of the infant seat if I can put her into one that will still lean back a little. Do you think it's worth it at this age? Im looking at either the Graco - MyRide 65 LX or Graco Size-4-Me 70 and it's about a $70 difference between the two based on the best prices I could find.

I don't know- ours doesn't recline and she still sleeps in it fine- even now at almost 3- and the transition was easy- she didn't seem to notice it at all.
I woudn't waste your money on the reclining one.

I'd go with the Size 4 Me only because it'll last you longer RFing than the Myide 65. Even though the AAP recommend 2 years, the closer you can get to age 4, the better.
I'd also look into the Chicco Next Fit. Has numerous recline positions and is also a seat that will last you long RFing.

The Size 4 Me and the my ride 65 both do rear til 40.
To the OP either would be fine.

We use the My Ride 65 in hubby's car. I have no complaints. DD seems confortable in it plus it has a cupholder. Definitely go with one that reclines.
