Is this inappropriate?
Zullily has a bunch of "dad" shirts for Fathers Day. Is it completely inappropriate to get a shirt for DS to wear that says "best freaken' dad ever" and I want to get my other DS one that says "daddy is my homeboy". I could just get them both the "daddy is my homeboy" shirt.

DH and I both have bad potty mouths - but I personally wouldn't that on my son.
I'd probably laugh if I saw someone else's kid in it - but it's not something I'd want him to say, so I'd feel like a hypocrite putting the shirt on him - KWIM?

I agree--unless it starts with "I have the..." it makes more sense for a Dad to wear.

Freaking is not a bad word in my house at all.. Geez.. what's next? Its bad enough my kid says I can't say heck, hell or damn as they are all bad words. Somehow no one has told her the F-bomb and Sh!t or B!atch are bad ... Yet LOL
I would think Fudgicle (sp) would be more obvious than freaking. Even Fracking is more obvious. And we use fracking a lot in our house since we are Battlestar Gallatica fans. Ah frack it!
What's next, can't say Jeez because it sounds too close to Jesus? can't say darn as its too close to damn? Can't say oh snap, because it sounds like oh crap?

I don't think so. Wouldn't think anything of it. Most likely would only put DS in something like that for a couple of funny pics. Maybe to use when I have to do laundry, a rainy day at home or outside by the pool.
Not something I'd take him out in though, but I'm not a fan of sayings on shirts anyway.

I dont like it for a kid to wear.
Im not saying you would send him to school with it but in my school it wouldnt be allowed and parents would prob be called to send in a new shirt so i use that as a guide.

I did wind up ordering it last night, only because it said 1-2 day shipping. Normally their stuff says like 12-14 days.
