How I met your mother
FINALLY! I was screaming at my tv when they showed her!!! I agree- nothing like I expected, but I can't wait to see them meet next season

Dh came up with a theory...
Robin wants to get out of wedding so she trades outfits with that girl and gets on the train. So Ted sees robin her with the boots and the yellow umbrella

I was screaming at the tv when they showed the boots then the umbrella I was like what cuz we are stupid you better span up lol. It's not robin she is def at he reception dancing in her dress. I think they don't go through with the wedding but have the party

That's true but they could be adopted! I just doing think it's going to be oh here's the mother what the heck will they do all season? Or maybe the yellow umbrella and boots are part of the bands costume...
I'm skeptical that she will turn out to be the mother.
Was that the girl from once on broadway?

Hmm... Hats a good theory. I keep saying that it's enough about robin already. The kids have to be tired of listening to their dad go on and on about how he was in love with their aunt robin and then meets some other girl and she's the one. Robin is totally forgotten about.

I don't understand how Robin can be questioning everything about her wedding/Barney in the last episode, and then be totally in love and in sync with Barney in this episode. It wouldn't be a shock if she didn't marry him, but come on now, how many times can she get together and break up with BOTH Ted and Barney???
I don't think there is any way the mother is Robin. They've already told us too much about her that doesn't work for Robin, including everything that Rachel Bilson told us (the mother is her roommate).
I do think the girl at the end is the mother. I hope he meets her in the beginning of next season and then the season focuses on the beginning of their relationship.

I figured it was the mother because it looks just like the daughter...for a 1/2 second I wondered if it was the actress who played the daughter all grown up since it is 9 years later!
I found this on IMDB about her...definitely the mother... HIMYM

I'm glad we finally saw her so they can just get on with it already next season. I know that it was confirmed already that she's the mom, but wanted to add...remember when we saw them together at the train station (I think it was earlier this season)? They showed her getting out of the taxi & grabbing her bass out of the trunk, so that's another clue that its her & not Robin.
I wonder what's going to happen with Lily & Marshall?? Are they going to live apart for a year? What about Marvin?

My guess is they aren't going to go. I think they wrote Italy into the Story Line because it was questionable if Jason Segel was coming back next season because his contract was up and he wanted more money.
They finally settled and he signed on for one more year so I bet they decide to stay.
