My Dh's opinion has completely changed
We just had our dd on tues. before she was born all Dh kept on saying was one and done. He was adamant. The day she was born and everyday thereafter he keeps telling me he now wants at least one more or more. I think its hilarious. We said we'll try again in 2yrs.

DH wanted kids right away- but we waited almost 2 years after being married to TTC.
After #1 he said he'd be content if we stopped there- I said no way!!
After #2 he was adamant that we were done.
We are now on #3  lol

Wow, that's a quick turn around! We've always said we're "one and done" and 5 mo. later, we are still feeling that way. And DD is an amazingly good baby. We just don't want another one :)

SO true!
He wanted 3 - said it was just the 'right' number
I wanted 2 - used to see him carrying two kids on his shoulders in my mind
We said we'd wait 3yrs to try again (we both have that much if not more between our own siblings).
As the days went on we changed our mind to one and done. She's a great kid and was a wonderful baby, always happy and easy to care for. We just didn't push our luck. I had some health issues which should factor in but honestly if I had wanted another I would have worked it out, would have found a way.
We are very happy and proud parents of an only child.
That 3rd year came up and went and we didn't even blink. No what could have beens, just happy for what is.

When mine were newborns I said I defeinitely want one more. Now that they are older I say Idk and Im sure once they are mobile I'll say oh hells no! and once terrible 2s hit I'll be asking the dr to tie my tubes. lol If I don't tie my tubes I'll be saying maybe again when they are 4. DH said this was it once we found out we were having twins.

We said two or three before we got married. Then we had DS. Initially, my DH wanted to have another one right away, I needed to wait- especially considering I was nursing and doing most of the work. Then DS got older and harder and DH said he was one and done. I said NO WAY! We waited until DS was almost two to start trying, but it took us 10 months and an IUI to get pregnant. We both agreed we were done! Now my youngest is three, and there's a big part of DH that would like a girl. I'm the one who put the kibosh on that. 1- there are certainly no guarantees that we'll have a girl. 2- I don't want to be pregnant again. 3- I don't want to have another child, whether its a girl or not.

LOL this was us, I was talking about it while I was still laying on the table!! and it only got stronger as DD grew! LOL I cant believe we lasted this long! (DD and DC#2 will be three years apart)

My Dh's opinion has completely changed
DH always said 2 i always said 4. Once i had DS i was ready again DH said a year or 2 but after 3 months he was ready again. DS will be 13 months when this baby comes. I told him we are taking a break of 1 year and will go for #3 and see how we are then. But my aim is still 4 LOL.

LOL...give it 2 more weeks when you're both so completely sleep deprived and then you will think you're nuts to want another. But then you'll change your mind again when you start sleeping again and DC starts smiling and interacting with you!
