Well-DS is 2.5 years old. I went to michaels and they have canvas tote bags 3 for $10. I bought a few different colored fabric paints and had him do his hand prints on the bag in a few different colors. They came out cute! Kinda Cheesy... But I figured aren't grandmas supposed to have stuff with the grandkids handprints on it?? Lol and I figure a bag like that is useful- even if just for groceries or something..,

Anything with baby's picture on it! A small photo book or framed pictures always go over very well. A pandora bracelet and charm with something to symbolize DC. I like the tote bag idea too!
I got this lenox frame set for mil for christmas and they are really cute. MIL seems to enjoy changing out the pics all the time.

I just made this at artrageous BUT I didn't know it takes 2 weeks to get it back! (they glaze it and put it in the kiln.
BUT I'm sure there are other places that could do it with faster turn arond or you could use something that doesn't require glazing and firing.
