I hear your labor can be like your mom's...
Definitely no relation at all. My mom gave birth to me - no drugs - in 2 hours. I know she was walking around the house for awhile before finally deciding she needed to go to the hospital but not sure for how long.
I was in the hospital for about 24 hours before I finally had a C-Section.
I don't have a sister so I can't verify that either.

no, my mom had a c section for me (and my other two siblings as well) and I gave birth vaginally

My mom was in labor for 72 hours with me. When my water broke with DD, 7 hours later i was only 1.5-2 cm, had i not had a c-section, i was in for a long labor. DS my water never broke but had serious contractions for 5 weeks with him. Im pretty sure my labors would have been pretty long like hers.

My mom and I had very similar pregnancies (uneventful, no sickness, went into labor early) but very different labors. Her water broke both times, didn't progress at all, after pitocin it went quick. I started contracting and lost my plug but water didn't break. Progressed quickly on my own but then once I reached 10cm everything slowed down and I ended up pushing on and off for 4 hours.

My mom went late with all four children and delivered naturally, she was in labor with me for 20 hours. DS was late but I had to be induced and ended up with a csection... so this might fall into the no/might have been had complications not come up.

Mine was. From water breaking to baby crying, the longest my mother labored was about 5 hours and she had 4 children.
My water broke at 5pm and I gave birth at 1030pm.
My entire pregnancy was extremely similar to my mother's also.

Mine was nothing like my moms....she was In labor for 24+ and ended up with a csection. Mine was 5 hours thankfully

My mom was not allowed any epi or pain meds during her labor bc of blood pressure issues, so thank god my labor was easier bc I had meds!

yes in my case. My mom said that she'd have had a million kids- her body was meant for having babies.
I feel the same way about mine.
