I don't want to seem like a jerk... but:
I feel like the past few weeks there's been a few outbursts of negativity/arguing in more and more posts on this board.
I mean, people are going to disagree of course....
But I really encourage everyone to try to take a breather before getting er... 'harsh sounding' on this particular board.
I left LIF a long time ago because I feel like there's a lot of truly mean people on these boards. I also found myself getting sucked into stupid arguments and sitting behind my computer screen becoming angry with people I'll never have to deal with in real life over the most ridiculous things.
I returned shortly before getting pregnant and primarily stayed here on this specific board because I felt like this was the 'nice' board.
So not to sound like a dork but... for real, can I please make a motion for everyone to make a conscious effort to be as nice as possible on this board? I have my moments too but seriously -- we're here because we're pregnant. Hormones are flying and the bottom line is we're all on THIS specific board because we're growing little babies inside us.
Peace? Please? Niceness?
Let the  stay over on the FHF etc. where all the craziness usually is brewing.

This entire site is a perfect example of why I've always gotten along better with guys then girls.
I can't deal with all the cattiness, holier then thou attitudes, "You don't agree with me so I have to prove that I'm right a million times", and all the assuming that goes on with these boards.
In the end it's like, If it doesn't directly effect me, and it's not a direct personal attack (real attack, not an assumed one) why put so much emotion and energy into the post.
Whatever...
(FYI, I'm not saying that anyone on the thread that you're talking about was or wasn't acting like this. lol Just had to put it out there) lol

I know what youre saying.
I disagree frequently with stuff people post on this board -- I just try to ignore and move along.
Whereas I might reply on a different board.
Who knows, I guess I'm just trying to be sensitive to the pregnants.

That is so funny you say that, I too left and came back. With my first pregnancy I was so happy that there was never any negatvity on the this board. This is the one board that should be happy happy happy!

I agree 100%! I have posted a couple of times recently bc I felt sorry for a poster who was getting their throat jumped down bc of a post that was "interpreted a certain way"! Anyone coming on here is looking for support and advice not berating, let's all get along
