Re: Spotting at week5

I think it is fairly common

I spotted right around there, I think week 6 but similar. Mine was bright red, I think it is totally normal but call you dr if you want. Mine said they become worried if you are bleeding a lot, like filling up a pad but the spotting when you wipe etc is very normal. When I freaked out, I also heard from others who had even bled heavily at that point and where fine so do your best to relax! (easier said than done I know)

I spotted yesterday. Ran straight to the RE and he said it seemed ok. He couldn't see any bleeding in the uterus. He told me to go home and rest for the day. It is such a scary feelingChat Icon

Oh and I am 5 weeks 3 days

I spotted at 4 weeks but I'm pretty sure it's ok. As long as it's not a heavy flow where you need a pad and it's not with heavy cramping you are ok.

I would call the doctor just in case. I know it's pretty common but I started spotting around 6 weeks and ended up miscarrying. That is worst case scenario though. It is most likely completely fine. But it's better to be safe IMO. I would try to get a sono at 6 weeks.

I am 5 weeks as well and the other night when I went tithe bathroom I noticed some faint pink when I wiped. There wasn't anything the following morning. I think it's pretty calming although very nerving.

Implantation bleeding is common in the first 8 weeks. I bled with my first baby at from week 7-9 but she is now 5 and perfectly healthy. Good luck!!!
