Went to the doc last night and I am 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced. OMG! My due date is a week from Sat so not that far off. But he said it doesnt look like I'll be going past my due date.
I'm at work and feeling super crampy today though- I may not make it more than another day or two!

Good labor vibes! Before going to the doctor, any feelings that you may be dilated already? I go tomorrow for my 38w. I don't know if I'm having an internal though but wondering if I would know if my body was prepping for baby. Tons of BH and back pain for weeks too.

yay for progress!!!! I wish there was an exact time frame associated with specific progress. it's so hard not knowing when u'll officially be in labor & delivering.
my 38w internal apt is today. I had progress last week so I'm curious as to what the dr says today. I'm still at work, but based on how I'm feeling not sure if I'm making it to my due date (11/8). BUT u never know!!!!
how is everyone else feeling?

I was getting stomach pains and BH yesterday but I've been getting them on and off for the past few weeks! Today though- I really feel cramped up, more than usual....and I feel like im getting more sharp/shooting pains "down there" haha. I'd like to make it through my last 2 days of work at least. Plus I'm supposed to go to a wedding on Sat!
It could happen tomorrow and it could happen a week or 2 from now so who knows?! Every body/baby is different.

closer to 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. I didn't ask for an estimated time frame, because I know it could be today or two weeks from today.
with my first I had progress and didn't go early despite the dr thinking I was going early.
def feeling more crampy each day though

congrats date twin! just noticed you had your baby! i hope you are feeling good!
i swore i was going in october but with halloween already here....im hoping baby stays put until at least friday! lol

Good luck! I have an apt on Th. as well.
My work shower is in 1 hour...after that I'm ready to go!
my last scheduled day of work is 11/8 (my due date). We're off Monday so I'm hoping baby #2 comes by 11/12/13 (if not sooner).
Short/Quick Checklist for Nov. Mommies To Be:
Hospital Bag (don't forget your coming home outfit for baby! & boppy, if u want)
Car Seat Base Installed
Plans/babysitter for other children/pets 
Sleeping area established
Clothes washed
Diapers & Wipes
Feeding Supplies
FMLA/Disability Work Papers - make copies in case your dr. misplaces them!

Thank you!!! I hope you make it until Friday and then have a quick and easy delivery! I can't believe my baby girl is a week old already. I keep looking at her thinking she should still be in my belly!

I had an internal on Tuesday and there was progress! I never had that with DD.... Everything was status
quo until i went into labor. Baby has dropped a bit and cervix is soft. I am happy that I'll be taking dd trick or treating today! Her birthday is also Monday so we will see what happens! Baby will come when it is ready!

Hi My November mamas!!
Tomorrow starts our month!! I really thought I would end up with an October baby but I guess not.
Went to the doc yesterday and I am 3 cm dilated, 90% efaced, and baby is "extremely low" so he thinks within the next 24-48 hours. I bet she will be born on her due date!!

I went in today and decided against a cervix check. Doc told me she would check me if I wanted but that being dilated doesnt really mean much if I'm not contracting at all, So I decided not to put myself through the torture lol.
She told me just to watch for painful contractions and if my water breaks and its clear i dont need to go rushing to the hospital.
Next appt on Thursday one day before due date. I really hope I don't make it until then!

Good luck ladies! My next appointment is next week but I can't have any internals done due to the previa. So, I just have to wait it out and take it easy until my c-section on Nov 22!

HAPPY NOVEMBER!!! Its finally here! Hope everyone is feeling good! I'm in a wedding today so I know it's going to be a very long day, hoping all the standing/running/dancing etc will kick start something  fingers crossed! Good luck girls!

Hi girls!!
I am still hanging in there!! On Wed the doctor told me I would go into labor within 48 hours as I was 3cm/ 90% and baby was low. But here it is 6 days later and STILL no baby!!
I keep getting awful contractions that last 3-5 minutes (too long to be "real" contractions) and then slowly get better rather than worse and stop! It's such a tease! Everytime I get excited and disappointed. But I don't want to rush to the hospital for no reason!
My next appointment is tomorrow morning so I hope there is some more progress
mama2charlotte GOOD LUCK tomorrow! Can't wait to hear the news! Let me know so I can post it in the original post.

If you want to be checked, just ask! If you are at your due date they probably will anyway.
I am getting a sono tomorrow at my appt just to make sure everything is ok.
