I second that...35 weeks today and my stomach is feeling like a bowling ball right now. And I was so excited to get to the fall weather only to find out that I can barely fit my boots on!! I got winded the other day before work trying to squeeze into a pair!
My husband scored us free tickets to the Giants game on Sunday. 10th row, 30 yard line. Not sure how I'm going to last in those uncomfortable seats for 3+ hours but I'm going to try to tough it out.

so a girl I know delivered yesterday and she was due on Nov 5...3 days before me! Def gave me a reality check that I need to start getting everything in order...
I booked my hospital tour for next Sunday, and I've been looking into nursing bras to bring to the hospital and starting to get the hospital bag going...can't believe it's getting so close!

Ahhh I know! I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and so NOT ready!
We did do our hospital tour last week as part of our lamaze classes, but we still havent picked a pediatrician, NOTHING is set up, I still have to buy all the breast feeding supplies and a diaper bag and all these other things we didn't get that we registered for, I need to pack my hospital bag, and buy things like diapers and wipes and all that little stuff.
How did it just creep up on us?!?!

That makes me want to throw up a little! I have diapers and wipes ready. But I still have no clothes since I'm  I have clothes from DS and my niece that I need to sort through. I also need to pack my bag. I'm more nervous about leaving my 13month old DS than having the baby!!
I have my next appt on 10/14 and will have my GBS test and first internal. Eek!

totally forgot about the pediatrician! haha i have some reco's from girls on here so I was just going to use one of them, let me look into that. Do you need to do anything before the baby is born regarding the ped?

i have GBS on monday...yay lol
It's nothing to worry about. A q tip swab. You won't even feel it! I was + with DS hoping I won't be this time.

You don't need to do anything with regard to the pediatrician but I highly recommend meeting them / interviewing them beforehand. We only interviewed one and we got a very good vibe off o her so that's who we went with. You just need to know who you're using before you get to the hospital and be sure the pediatrician you chose goes to the hospital you're giving birth at for newborn visits. They're going to ask you in the hospital who you're using. The OB usually asks too.

even though I'm a few weeks behind you ladies, all if this chatter has definitely got me feeling nervous and excited and anticipating this baby's arrival!! every time I feel like my due date is still far away I realize I can't really say that anymore. it's creeping up day by day. it's hard to believe in just over a month and a half I'm going to be a mom!

same here...i feel huge. my co-workers keep reminding me i look like i have a giant melon in me. I'm def getting slower and more winded.
i had to go to the hospital to get checked (false alarm) which made me realize i am soooo not prepared.
nov is soooo close!

I have my GBS tomorrow! Baby is kicking me a LOT "down there" today. She has definitely dropped low now. I think she wants out! I'd be perfectly fine with going early. I just want to make it to 38 weeks just to be sure everything is matured and developed.

So I have been in a lot of pain (back, sides, ribs, stomach) all week. And getting braxton hicks A LOT. Last night it was really bad. I really thought- maybe this is it! I started timing them but the contractions lasted way too long and they were random still. But they wouldn't go away.
Suddenly I showered this morning and got dressed and I was fine. And 2 hours later- still fine- My back still hurts a little but thats about it. I'm suddenly feeling better than I've felt all week. And I'm happy to be feeling better but I really thought that the pains meant baby was on her way! Oh well.
Unless this is just the calm before the storm...

I went to the doctor last night for a growth sono. Everything looked good, baby is 6.5lbs at 36 weeks. Good position and we got to see her sucking her thumb, cutest thing ever.
Then I have my blood pressure taken and it's high. She took it again a few minutes later and it went down a bit but still high. Doc seemed concerned. Asked if I was having headaches (yes but very minor and quick, would come and go within minutes) and any pain. I tell her I've been having pain under my right boob...thought it was the position of the baby. Apparently this is a possible sign of preclampsia. So now I need to do a 24 hour urine collection to test for protein and bloodwork was done yesterday. It's crazy how things can turn around so quickly.
Luckily being so far along, worst case scenario they just induce. But I am soooo not ready for the baby yet!!

Aly I've been feeling the same way! It's frustrating. I'm so crampy right now and just started timing the BH. This uncertainty is the worst!

ive been in so much back pain it really is terrible...now she's getting so big she's really starting to get under my ribs too and prodding my bladder....FUN! Then combined with the BH it's def no fun.
Glad to hear you're feeling better!! Maybe it is the calm....enjoy it lol

hopefully it's nothing!! i also can't decide what's better. I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore bc of pain, etc...but I don't know if Im ready for her to come yet! so much to do

 is all up in my ribs too! Though he is head down.
They scheduled my C-section for November 7. I'll be 39 weeks exactly. I'm still so torn about it as I wanted a VBAC (even though my gut has always told me this one would end in a C-section too despite having no complications). When I had the sono at the hospital yesterday they say weighs about 6.5 lbs right now at 35 weeks and while I know those estimates can be off by a pound, I'd venture to say it's pretty accurate considering me and my brother were both big babies and so was DS#1. The fundus measurement (tape measure) the doctor did at my OB appointment last week had me measuring 35 weeks when I was 34 weeks along so... If this baby is that big (potential at this rate to be 9lbs at birth) then I'm likely not a good candidate for a VBAC. 
Now I guess we wait and see if he'll even stay in there until November 7.

How is everyone feeling?? Isn't the last few weeks the worst part?? I was so surprised by my anxiety at the end with DS and the fact that no one told me about it. It's no different this time. I'm so anxious to know when this baby will be coming! Every pain, twinge, cramp I'm wondering if its the start of something. I'm annoying myself at this point!
At 37w3d I'm still feeling good but getting uncomfortable. I'm tired and just ready for baby to come!

I went to the doc yesterday (I'm 37w/5d) And he said I am not dilated yet but I am 50% effaced. I really thought I was going early but he thinks I'll go right to my due date! I am definitely feeling anxious and just DONE! But we are in the home stretch ladies... we've done it this long... whats just a few more weeks!!!!

I may not have a November baby after all. Went to the doc yesterday and although my urine and bloodwork came back fine my blood pressure is still a little high. She said that is enough to diagnose gestational pre-hypertension. Apparently I would need to be induced between 37-39 weeks for that. If they let me go until 40 I could develop the preclampsia. So at this point I could be having this baby in the next week or so. I have another appointment tomorrow and again Wednesday so I'd assume nothing will happen before then. But you never know, it's scary how you can go into a normal doctor's appointment thinking everything is fine and then all of a sudden she is talking about inducing me! I need to pack my hospital bag!!
