Question about gift mentioned in thank you card

my DS went to his classmate's 5th birthday party. few weeks before the party i asked what she wanted. she told me Doc McStuffins Book of Boo Boos. awesome. so i got her that and a cute outfit. party comes and goes and i get a thank you card but only mentioning the outfit. I'm friendly with the mom, but I don't see her unless there's an event. Would you email her to make sure she got the Book of Boo Boos? I thought it was weird that thats the gift the girl actually asked for but it wasn't mentioned.

No, I wouldnt. I assume they did, but maybe whoever was writing the list for thank yous just accidentally left the book off.

Just let her know that you wanted to check about the gift... especially since they asked for it :)

thanks guys. i ended up emailing her. she said she's glad i asked and so sorry she didn't mention it in the thank you card. but she did get the gift. now i can move on lol
