Doing a photo shoot with my niece , but we have no location, please help
My oldest niece is studying photography and she offered to do a family shoot for us. But asked we find the location . she can come to Queens or I can go near her in Brooklyn, or we can even do LI as long as it's not too far from Brooklyn/Queens.
I have nothing
Any ideas?

Crocheron Park ( Bayside)
Gantry State Park
Francis Lewis Park by the Whitestone Bridge
Park by the Throgs Neck Bridge
St Johns University Campus
Queens Farm Museum
Western Nassau: ( all near Queens)
- Roslyn Duck Pond and Roslyn town itself
- Westbury Gardens
- The Deseversky Mansion
- Eisenhower Park
- Sea Cliff area ( the docks and the overlook by the water)

Gantry in lic is very cool. View of skyline with a beautiful boardwalk. Its not your typical park but its nice. We got some great pictures. I'll try to post later.
Francis Lewis park by the whetstone.

if you want a city/vibrant vibe then def. DUMBO or LIC. For Long Island since your family you might be able to get away shooting at the planting fields (typically there is a permit for pro's) but worst case you pack up and leave.

ITA. I'd even check out Forest Park in Queens or Prospect Park in Brooklyn if you're looking for something less urban.

Prospect Park is gorgeous, we did our E-Pics there. There are also some really pretty spots in Forest Hills Gardens/Near the Forest Hills LIRR station (Station Square) if you want some old world residential type pictures.
