Real Housewives of New Jersey Stars Allegedly Involved in Bloody Fight

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Jacqueline Laurita, her husband Christopher and Joe Gorga are facing criminal charges after a bloody, sink-throwing brawl reportedly broke out at a grand opening party for Kim DePaola's new clothing store in Ridgewood, N.J., on Saturday.

The trio allegedly attacked a guest after he made fun of the Lauritas' son Nicholas, 3, who suffers from autism, the couple revealed last year. Bravo cameras were reportedly rolling throughout the fight.

According to the Bergen Record, Ridgewood Municipal Judge David Pfund determined there is probable cause to charge the Lauritas and Gorga with assault and terroristic threats after the alleged attack against John Karagiorgis of Paramus, N.J.

The Lauritas and Gorga filed counter-complaints against Karagiorgis. A probable cause hearing on the counter-claims will be held next week, according to the Record.

"It was a huge brawl," Jennifer Dunn, a local salon owner who shares space with the new boutique told the Fairlawn-Saddlebrook Patch. "Three of Kim D's clothes racks were destroyed and three of our custom sinks were broken. There was blood on the walls."

Another report says Jacqueline took off her shoes and bashed Karagiorgis on the head.

A source close to the Lauritas denies the accusation and defends the reality stars.

"She never used her shoe against [Karagiorgis]," says the source. "And everyone felt as though he came in there confrontational, and instigated the fight."

These latest charges come just days after Jacqueline told PEOPLE how well the family has been faring lately.

"We've all been through so much but we are in a really good place right now," she said at the Bravo upfront event Thursday. "We've put a lot of the bad blood behind us and worked through our issues."

As for their son Nicholas, Chris Laurita says, "He keeps progressing, and then regressing, but he's doing so well. We're really happy with his progress. He's a great little boy."

An initial hearing for Gorga and the Lauritas has been set for April 18.

I don't know what to think here ... While beating the everliving crap out of a person is not the way to go neither is making fun of a child with a disability. I am sure there is much more to this story

I don't condone their actions regardless of the instigation or reason. This is where they should have taken the high road. I see nothing good that can come from beating up someone who makes fun of your kid. I don't think people should ever make fun of kids, especially if there is something like autism in the picture, but regardless, using violence in retaliation is never OK with me.

I feel like the whole thing--the provocation and response has got to have been for the cameras. RH was supposed to show enviable women's lives. Instead, it's just desperate people willing to do anything for attention.

Eh bar brawls never really go anywhere in court from what I've heard so they will likely get off easy
