Recommend your OB/GYN
Hey ladies! I was hoping some of you would have some recommendations for great OB/GYNs. I used to see Dr. Duncan at Women for Women but I've had a few issues with her and don't really feel comfortable going back now that I'm pregnant.
I made an appointment with Dr. Lauren Bashian in Bellmore but I'm a little annoyed because they want me to come in at 11 for an appointment and then come back at 5 for a sonogram which I think is kind of ridiculous.
Does anyone have any feedback on Dr. Bashian or have a recommendation for another doctor? I live in Rockville Centre so that area would be preferred.
Thanks so much!

I use Dr Bashian and never had issues with appointments. Was there only a certain day you could go reason why they spaced it out like that? I usually go early evening so it works out where I have my sonogram then see the doctor right after.

I've seen Bashian and was very happy with her. I started seeing Dr. Annie Frenkel in that practice as well and really like her.

It could be that I just waited too long for an appointment. I asked if they had any late afternoon/early evening appointments but the first one was May 7th. I asked if I could come at any time on Wednesday the 17th and she could only do it if I spaced my appointments like that.
It's not a big deal as long as that doesn't happen with every appointment. I'm glad you like her, thanks for the feedback!

Duncan is my ABSOLUTE least favorite at that practice so I feel your pain. Did you try one of the others there?

I didn't but I've heard good things about them. I have gone to Duncan since I'm 16 years old and never had a problem with her. However, when I decided to go off the BCP and didn't get a period, she kind of just brushed it off because I'm 'young.' She told me I didn't have PCOS and that my body just needed to regulate - which is totally untrue! Anywho, I'd feel funny going back to that practice to see another doctor since I had been seeing Duncan for so long. Know what I mean?
