10 month old not wanting an afternoon nap!
What's going on? Is 10 months old a normal age for giving up the afternoon nap..i thought it was later?? Of course i forgot everything from DS because it was so long ago.
I'm sure if i got her in the car, she would pass out in two minutes, but as far as just getting her to nap at home in her crib, she wants NO part of it.
What are other DC doing??

10 month old not wanting an afternoon nap!
My DS went to one nap at 12m. I see no need to force a nap. If the don't want it they don't want it.

10 month old not wanting an afternoon nap!
DD was exactly the same. Suddenly at 10 months she wanted no part of a second nap. I tried everything including taking her out to tire her out and then drive around, nursing to sleep, nothing worked. It was a tough transition and sometimes she's still a mess by the end of the day bc she will nap pretty early and often not much longer than an hour.

sounds like it is time to cut out am nap & start doing an afternoon nap.
Maybe she is just wanted to stay uplonger?
