That shit bothers me more than anything.
You see so many beautiful black women in ads for major lines and they all seem to lighten their skincolor. Why can't they just keep it as is??

I'm not disagreeing with you, but I feel like they do it a lot with many black women and it's always bothered me. And when you DO see a black women part of a major ad campaign, it's always a light-skinned black woman.
I really love that one black model - Alek Wek - she has such beautiful dark skin and face and i feel we rarely see that in major advertisements. It's a shame. I find dark skin beautiful.
Maybe I start to look for "whitewashing", now after this whole scandal:

It doesn't even look like Beyonce in that Album cover.
She is light skinned and the darker pic posted above is darker than I have usually seen her look but in person there is no way she is a light as that album cover.
