Recommentions for Pediatrics in Bayside PLZ
I am looking for good pediatrian in bayside for daughter. I read some reviews about Dr Theodora PANTELOGLOU has anyone used her? What I am considered about is she is not a MD she is DO.

I go to bayside Pediatrics on bell blvd and I love Dr. Horowitz. DD is 3 weeks but he was there in the hospital from the beginning. I haven't met the other doctors in the practice yet. The only downfall is that there is only street parking.

Recommentions for Pediatrics in Bayside PLZ
We use Dr. Panteloglou and we really love her. She really "knows" your kid and takes her time with you. She never pushes you to do anything you're not comfortable with. I nursed DD until she was 18 months and she never told me I should stop. DD didn't like regular milk, and while she gave me other suggestions, she didn't make me feel like a crappy mom because I couldn't get dairy in my kid. We are moving in June and I am so sad that we won't be able to continue using her!

We go to children's medical group on 26th ave and Corp Kennedy. I like all the drs in the group but my faves are Hogan and Millington

the pediatrician who i had as a child and used until i was about 19 years old was Dr. Lubov (technically its not Bayside, but its on Union Turnpike- a little west of St. Johns University)
I grew up with him- he basically became like a father figure for me (since my father is an a-hole) so needless to say, he is a wonderful, caring doctor and knows you and your child very well. Its just him and his receptionist/nurse (who is the nicest lady ever)- not even a nurse though who takes temp/weight etc. so again, he really knows your child and takes you in his office every appointment to sit down and talk. I thought this was the norm growing up because it was all I ever experienced- obviously I realize now, that its not.
Only downfall is, and as a parent, I completely understand how bad this is- his hours aren't great (no evenings)- not all weekdays I dont think- especially, if you are a working mom and when he goes on vacation/holidays, he refers to another local doctor but doesnt have someone else in the same office, covering.
But if your main thing is super personal attention and from a doctor who is experienced, caring, knows his stuff and will work/talk with you, I highly recommend!
