I'd love to hear this as well. I'm in MCSD but we chose to go the private route. But I'm always wondering if and when they go public what the district is like.

My DS went to K last year at Unity Drive. I was very happy with the program. I feel that he learned a lot in K, and that Unity is a really nice school, in that since it is only Pre K and K, they are really geared toward that age group. I think the principal is very good there too. I will say that I was not thrilled with his teacher, but DS loved her. And no matter what district you are in, you may get a teacher that you just don't click with. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions that you have.

I just looked at DS's class list from last year. There are 15 kids on it, and a few missing, so maybe 18? And there was an assistant in the class at least half the day, usually more than that.

ETA: this year in first grade, there are 25 in his class.

My DD went to Unity last year. There are 17 or 18 kids in her class. We loved Unity. This year, in 1st grade, she has 25 kids in her class with an aide. So far, so good.
