Re: Down there?

I love hearing all of your replys! My friend and I just had this conversation...and I told her it looks like Edward Scissor hands did a number on me. I try to stay trimmed especially before a visit. I am sure the Dr doesn't care but I feel like it makes it more pleasant for her but since I do such a terrible job I've been using a buzzer and hand mirror a few days before apt. just in case I make nics.Chat Icon

Re: Down there?

can i ask...what's the difference between a regular bikini wax and a brazillian? i know they will do all cracks with the Braz. but how much do they take off with a regular?
I've always been a shaver, but i cant reach for beans. I do what i can, but i know its choppy. I'm mortified to do a brazillian at this stage- the purple twinkies just arent the first impression i want to give. Im having a c-section with this one and thought a regular bikini wax might be a better option?
TIA

at just about 35 weeks I have totally stopped caring! Chat Icon Chat Icon however I will be getting a brazillian before my c/s since shaving aint gonna happen and if I do nothing they will do it at the hospital and i'd rather not on that one!

They shave it at the hospital for a c/s? That's weird....do they for a agin all birth

yes for a c/s! The incision line is really low...

A brazilian is EVERYTHING gone. You have the option of leaving something but generally it is just completely bare. A bikini is just around the edges lol they usually give you a disposable thin underwear thing to wear with a bikini wax and they wax around it.

I get brazilians and while it does hurt a lot during pregnancy, it only hurts while you're doing it. No purpleness or swelling afterwards lol

Re: Down there?

Bump: How long do you have to grow it out down there in order to get waxed?

I've only gone once for my wedding and I grew it out probably for about 4 weeks and when I went, she said it wasnt long enough!

I go every 5 weeks, 4 weeks isn't long enough for me, but most people it is....I have very fine hair and it grows super slow!
