Have you heard of the new OPI line, "Liquid Sand" ? Mariah Carey is their spokesdiva or something.

It's like matte but still sparkles and your nails will supposedly feel like they are covered in sand.

Anyone hear of this yet?

I saw them in Ulta yesterday. I hate the feeling of textured nails, so I passed, but the idea is cool!

That seems like it would be a beyotch to get off.
My Essie glitter topcoat was soooo cool but really hard to remove and this seems worse.

You need to use the glitter polish remover trick!

First you need 10 pieces of foil big enough to wrap around your fingers. Take cotton pads (they hold the remover better than cotton balls) and cut them in small squares. Soak them in acetone polish remover and apply to each nail, then wrap your nail in foil. Wait 10 minutes and most if not all of the glitter should be off!

Easier than scrubbing and better for you nails too.

Oh thanks!
I think I had used this trick to get off my shellac mani at home.
I never thought to use it for the glitter polish.
I have to try this.

Oh thanks for sharing! Glitter is a b!tch to get off. But I like the look, I wouldn't mind the feel of the textured nails.

Zoya is releasing a line of these as well! Their colors are a bit lighter, could be really pretty for spring!

That seems like it could be dangerous, I could see myself scratching the leather of my bags or the handles, especially lambskin bags they would be destroyed.

Also silk shirts could get pulled and sweaters too
