Are Tory Burch flats still cool?
I have always wanted a pair and my MIL gave me some money to buy shoes with for Christmas. I know they were really in a few years ago, but are they still? If not, what other types of flats are in?

I have this problem with trends. I see them, and I might want to get in on it, but by the time I am ready to make the jump, something else is in. My sister is really good at anticipating things and is always ahead of the curve, but it takes me a little while to decided to try something new, and by then...its old, lol!

I think there are still in. I see a lot of women wearing them. I've had my pair for a couple years now and still wear them.

I think they're fairly timeless in appearance. Then again, my rule is typically that if I love it, I don't really care if it's in or not. You said you've been wanting them forever, so go for it!

I don't think it's really about being "cool." I think they are a classic flat brand now and a designer that will be cool for sometime - I think it's more about the style of the particular shoe than TB or not. Like a Gucci or Fendi bag - they are classic brands that will always be in - the question is if the style of the bag is or is not... I personally LOVE TB flats - size up a 1/2 size and they are super comfortable! I have a bunch of pairs and buy more every season! I say go for it if they are comfortable for you and you like the style!

I like the style, but it does have a really prominent logo, which I don't usually do, so for that reason, I just wanted to make sure TB was still "in" since the brand is relatively new in its popularity. I wasn't sure if it reached "timeless" status, or if it would pass and I would be the sucker that bought $200 flats that were going out of style. Thanks for all the encouragement. I am going to go for it.

honestly, this is what i don't like about them...the gigantic metal logo (not sure if you're getting the metal medallion or the leather). There is no subtlety. I hate to spend $$$ and feel like a walking billboard
I saw the TB Calista boots on someone today and was drooling though bc the logo is very subtle in the design
