Transitioning into Toddler bed

My DS is almost 15 months and really hates his crib. I
He starts vomiting if I put him to sleep in his crib, so i've been letting him sleep on his Mickey Mouse sleeping bag bed in our room. I know it's a bad habit, but at least he will sleep through the night.


I'm thinking about converting his crib into a toddler bed, but I'm not sure if he is too young. I would put up a baby gate at his doorway so he can't get out of the room and roam around the house. Or I was thinking about buying one of those car type beds or even a twin bed.

Please I need advice or experience.

Transitioning into Toddler bed

i converted my DS to a toddler bed around 18 months...he was a pain in the butt the first night cause he keep getting up himself but after that he was fine, slept much better and was much happier cause he could get in and out hiself...just make sure you have some type of railing up so he doesnt fall out during the night
