If your kids took/take karate?

I didn't realize that on top of the monthly tuition there are application fees for testing? I feel $50 is a bs application fee what if he doesn't pass? I don't even feel he's ready and the funny thing it was marked DS had perfect attendance when he missed a lot because of hurricane and a few sick days. Are these application fees right, did you pay around this much?! I feel like taking a pass on the test for now.

At that age they won't test them until they know 10000% they will pass. I have never seen a child NOT pass and DD has been through 3 belt tests already.

They test probably every 2-3 months, so you can definitely skip this one if you aren't comfortable.
