I have the monogram neverfull and LOVE it. It's my go-to bag on most days because of it's shape and size.

I have some birthday money from a few months ago and I've wanted to treat myself to the Damier Neverfull. I only have two issues. One is not knowing if it's silly to have the same bag in both prints (though I LOVE the bag!!)

Also, I hope to have a baby one of these days. When I have a baby, stroller, and diaper bag, will I still make use of my handbags? Or, do people mainly just toss their wallet in the diaper bag and call it a day?

well i have two of the damier neverfulls, so i'm the wrong one to ask lol-i have the brown and the grey print, in the same size

my plan is that when i have a baby i'll use it as a diaper bag-it's big enough, and you can use inserts for diapers/wipes/bottles/etc.

Re: LV opinion

I have a baby (well 21 month old) and I still use my Speedy all the time. I work, so I take a regular bag with me. But honestly, there have been times where I've thrown a sippy cup into a big ziploc bag and put that with some diapers and wipes in my bag.

I just got the Bllomsbury PM for my birthday and I love it. It's a cross body bag so it's perfect to carry with a baby because I don't have to "carry" it. Plus, I could bring a diaper bag too since I don't carry that on my shoulder or hold it in my hand.

I have the monogram Neverfull and have used it for a diaper bag for my 8 month old. It definitely works.

Edit to say I always have two bags when I go out. I don't want to retire them now that I use a diaper bag Chat Icon

Re: LV opinion

Thanks ladies!!! I actually have a diaper bag already!! Chat Icon I got it over a year ago and it's just sitting in my closet waiting to be used........ I'm leaning on the side of getting it though. I'm guessing for small errands I won't always want to lug the whole diaper bag anyway.

I can't give you an opinion on the bag cause I never buy designer bags but on the mommy side of things I never use a big bad anymore unless I am goignt o work. If I have DS I just use a tiny clutch type that can be thrown in his bag.

Thanks .. is a diaper bag used for all outings though, including small errands? I know nothing here Chat Icon but I imagine if we just take a walk to Starbucks and CVS I could get away with just my handbag with some essentials tossed in, right?

Yup! I actually despise my diaper bag and only use it when I have to ...If I'm going for a quick walk and know he won't be eating I just throw a diaper, wipes and pacis in my purse.

. Don't ask why I wouldn't just buy a new diaper bag that I would like...that would make life much easier!Chat Icon Chat Icon

What size Neverfull do you have? Maybe get a different size. I have just been using my diaper bag but once DS gets a little older I'll probably go back to using the Neverfull again because, like you, I think its the best bag on the planet.

Re: LV opinion

I personally would get a different style bag - I have a Damier neverfull and a Speedy monogram.

Now that I'm not carrying around bottles anymore, I use my Neverfull as my 'diaper bag' - I just throw a ziploc of diapers/wipes and a separate ziploc w/ some snacks and emergency stuff in there and go ......

I LOATHED carrying a diaper bag. - And I have a really cute Coach 'non diaper bag' looking diaper bag - but it's still a PITA

I have the medium size one. It's the only size I would get because the small is too small and the large one is just to big for me to use everyday. Maybe because I'm 5' tall but I feel like it looks enormous on me Chat Icon though I don't feel that way when I see it on other people!

Maybe I'll go to the store and check out other styles. I just love the convenience of the Neverfull and how it's like half the price of other styles that look similar.

Re: LV opinion

I have the monogram never full and debated using it as a diaper bag but I didn't want to ruin it with milk, puffs, baby gunk Chat Icon I figure if I keep it nice I can use it for years to come.

I debated getting a damier never full also but ended up getting the sully bc I wanted a different style.

Honestly I don't use my nice bags that often bc I have a small little purse I bring around w/me ad throw in the diaper bag, but I figure I won't be using a diaper bag forever so for Christmas DH got me a gucci I will probably not use for 5 yrs Chat Icon

I have a Damier Neverfull, the large one, and I still haven't used it as a diaper bag with my 10mo. I feel like I need pockets and organization. It would probably hold more than my VB diaper bag too. I'm someone who carries around a lot of stuff though. You NEVER know!

You can get an organizer to put in it! I've heard of people doing that ...

I have the largest Neverfull and I use it as a diaper bag now that my DD is older (3). I just throw all my stuff and all of hers in it too. It's perfect for when we are out all day. Any snacks, sippies I keep in a ziplock so the bag doesn't get gunky.

All my beautiful bags are in the closetChat Icon You will NOT want to be putting baby stuff in your LVs. You will be rocking a diaper bag for the next few yearsChat Icon I would save my $ at this point, or if you do buy a nice bag, make it a clutchChat Icon love

I don't put my baby stuff in my regular bag but I am a FTWM so I still need my regular purse. I don't bring the baby with me every where either. If I need to shop I wait until DH is home so I can go out on my own. Even sometimes when I shop with her I don't bring the huge bag, but I'm not even out for a full hour then.
